I am lactose intolerate and allergic to Alliums (Onions and Garlic). I do like flavorful foods and do not like HIGH STARCHED, SUGAR FOODS. Quinoa, Millet, Amaranth are all preferable protein foods that work well for the meditation forum. Please no white rice or high sugar foods as those just make us sleepy. Please have ample fresh vegetables and fruits. Quinoa is good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some flavored with Cardamom, etc... its a GREAT way to go.

Hello L Picard:
We will take care of your lactose intolerate condition. Regarding allergic to Alliums (Onions and Garlic) we do not use any of this in Part 2 course menu as they are considered TamasiK in nature. The Menu will have mild flavor. There is going to be a good mix of fruits, vegitables, and carbs. The menu is very well thought of by the teachers. There will be white rice but we can arrange for other alternatives also. None of the food will have High Sugar content. The suggestions you have made will be considered.

Would you be willing to provide a whole grain alternative at each meal along with the white rice that is so often there? Options include brown rice, quinoa, millett, roti, whole grain pasta, etc.
Also I have been instructed to avoid vinegar, cheese, tomatoes, garlic and onions
Thank you, Betsy Herman

Hello. I would really love to have a traditional Texan breakfast every morning. I have to admit I am not a vegetarian. I love my scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and biscuits and gravy every morning. And I usually eat barbecue several times a week. I know that you may not be providing these things and that is ok. However, one thing that I need to avoid is soy. It causes my estrogen levels to go up. I am not picky about food but I do have some suggestions. I have read what other people have suggested and I agree with providing more whole grains instead of white rice. Quinoa and Millet are good suggestions. Anyway thank you for all your help. I know the food is going to be great!

Hi - I am on the Guru Puja 1 course and am 5 months pregnant . I will need to eat more frequently through the day - small meals, snacks, fruits etc. I will also need warm milk 2 times a day. Please let me know if this is going to be possible. Thanks!

Hi, Jai Guru Dev! I am on a special diet due to my health conditions. Basically, I don't eat spice, oil, too much tomatoes like pasta sauce and citrus foods. I appreciate if you can provide other types of food that I can eat. Thanks for your help.
